Raison d'être

Let us record the atoms as they fall upon the mind in the order in which they fall, let us trace the pattern, however disconnected and incoherent in appearance, which each sight or incident scores upon the consciousness.
~~ Virginia Woolf, Modern Fiction - On capturing the stuff of life

Reasons to have a place of my own in the dusty corners of the internet:

- to leave a footprint of my self in the world
- to have a place to lay my self open and share who I am with the people that want to see it
- to have a place to collect and "record the atoms as they fall upon the mind" ~ Virginia Woolf
- to display my weirdness and find others who are compatible with my weirdness ~ Dr. Suess
- to have a place to outlet my opinions, feelings, fears
- to have a place to write from my heart, soul and mind
- to create a window of understanding into life as a person with a long term health condition and the artful need to live an ingenious lifestyle ~ Neil Marcus
- to make clear what is important to me
- to generate the practice and habit of writing
- to collate the world as I see it in quotes
- to publish essays as a first step toward a quiet dream of being published
